Christy Dillon
Born and raised in Oregon (pronounced ORE-GHEN), music has always been a part of Christy’s life. Her mother began teaching her to read music and play piano at age 4. During junior high and high school, Christy was involved in band playing the flute and auxiliary percussion. Her singing interests began in college. After singing in an 8-part a cappella ensemble in college (George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon), Christy moved to Orlando, Florida to sing in the Voices of Liberty at Epcot. She remained a full-time employee of Walt Disney World for 5 years, but now works at her church, First Baptist Church of Orlando, in the Music/Worship Office. No children yet…just a 20 pound ball of fluffy, orange fur: her cat, Aslyn.
